I’m Sankalpa Nanayakkara, and I’m currently studying a master’s degree in Information Technology with the specialization on Software Design and Development. I obtained a first-class honors bachelor’s degree in software engineering from the University of Westminster in the Uk. Following that, I started an internship with IFS R&D International (Pvt) Ltd for a year. I was mostly involved in cross-platform mobile app development, web development, and Jenkins automation server for continuous integration and delivery during that time.
I decided to carry on with my master’s research on ‘Critical evaluation of formal verification methodologies used in smart contracts’. The main reason for selecting this field is that blockchain-based smart contracts are rapidly becoming one of the most promising emerging technologies. This will also be beneficial to my future career.
