During this week, I visited different sites, read articles and journals then finally selected my research topic “Biometric Authentication”. Security is one of the trending topics of all time and a lot of information are available on internet on this topic. Whereas Biometric Authentication is widely used authentication mechanism nowadays. For upcoming weeks I’ll do more research about my topic and collect more information and update on my blog.

After the selection of topic, In second week I started working on blog setup and updated my blog with intro, weekly report content and prepared an abstract for the submission.

Begining of the third week, I start working on my next task which is project proposal. I start to search journal papers, articles related to my topic based on my research question. I found useful resources and start preparing my project proposal document. I also prepared Gantt Chart and Work Breakdown Structure to acheive the project milestone. Since, the project proposal submission due on early week 4. I completed draft work of my proposal doument based on suggested template.

Week 4 is project proposal submission due date. I finalized my final project proposal document and submitted to turnitin. Also, start to work on next task which is annotated bibliography. In the lecture of week four we started discussion about the task, research skills, research methods on online zoom meeting class. So on, I started to collect more research paper and information related to my topic so that I can present a good report for next assessment.

I already started to work on my next task after getting ideas from the week 5 lecture class. I started to analyse papers deeply and collect the information from those papers. I am still in dilemma how to combine the ideas of the 12 different papers into a single paper. In the zoom meething class, lecture gives different examples and suggest a template to follow so that we can easily accomplish our goal.
